HACSI has stepped in with timely help to Hindu families who suffered hardships due to death, prolonged illness of the main income earner or domestic violence and court disputes. HACSI has provided $84000 to 20 families in addition to volunteer help in guiding families through difficult times. During 2020, HACSI donated $17000 and in 2021 a grant of $5000 was given to a college student, whose family faced a financial crisis period. Government agencies and community leaders are referring such cases to HACSI leading to an increase in these services.
